How the job works in Kogarah
Most house installations take half a day to a day.
For apartments, we provide a written scope.
For houses, the installation involves a capacity check, a dedicated circuit from the switchboard, the charger and its protection, then commissioning with your car. Older Kogarah homes may need a board upgrade first, especially if the board still has fuses.
Apartment buildings near the station and hospital are a different process. The owners corporation must approve the installation, and the building's supply and metering determine the options: a charger supplied from your unit's board, a separate meter, or a shared charging system. We'll prepare a written scope your committee can consider.
Charging from an ordinary power point is possible but slow, and it puts a sustained load on a circuit that may not be designed for it. A dedicated charger on its own circuit is the safer long-term option.
